This is my first book, coming out sometime from Putnam's. It's the story of Lucy Darrington, a plucky young girl who gets sent to live with distant relatives in a tiny logging town that has been recently suffering from mysterious wolf attacks. The time is something like a hundred years ago, the place is something like Oregon. The wolves are (maybe you guessed it) werewolves.

The great thing about writing a kids' book is that I get to refer to my other book as my "adult" book. This one involves Proust, the drug trade, and a lot of bad judgment. Still a work in progress.
